this thread will go over some tips for getting enough sleep and actually waking up rested ✧

⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔

  1. keep a consistent bedtime and wake time ✩
    your body has a little internal clock (⸝⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝⸝) it really loves routine, so try to sleep and wake up at the same times every day, even on weekends​
  2. make your room cozy ( ⸝⸝- ̫ -⸝⸝ )
    dark, cool, and quiet usually works best. blackout curtains, white noise, or even just a fan can change everything​
  3. limit phone use before bed (・・)ゞ
    screens trick your brain into thinking it’s daytime. try reading, journaling, or putting on calming music instead​
  4. watch caffeine and sugar (╥﹏╥)
    coffee, energy drinks, or soda too late in the day will keep you up. it’s best to stop in the afternoon​
  5. move your body during the day ૮꒰ ˶• ༝ •˶꒱ა
    exercise (even a simple walk) helps your body want to rest at night. just avoid super intense workouts right before bed​
  6. create bedtime rituals (´。• ᵕ •。`) ♡
    skincare, stretching, tea, or changing into cozy pajamas all signal your brain it’s time to slow down​
  7. don’t stress if you can’t sleep right away ( 。 •́ ‸ •̀ 。 )
    laying in bed anxious about not sleeping makes it worse. try slow breathing, soft sounds, or reading until you feel sleepy​
  8. useing melatonin, CBD, or other things to help with sleep can help aswel ^^​

Just take 3mg of melatonin and 900 mg of magnesium before sleeping and that it’s
 
I hate sleeping...I always fall asleep while scrolling on my phone.😭
