Islam is a Religion of Peace
The most general meaning of terrorism is the use of violence for political purposes against non-military targets. In other words, the targets of terrorism are civilians. Their only crime is to be the "other side" in the eyes of the terrorist.
Therefore, terrorism means the use of violence against innocent people, and there is no moral justification for this. Every act of terrorism, like the murders of Hitler or Stalin, is a "crime against humanity". For a believer, this is a violation of a definite command of Allah. Those who try to reconcile Islam with terrorism should first remember this fact.
The Quran is the true book sent down by Allah as a guide to mankind,
and Allah commands people to have good morals in the Quran. The basis of this morality is love, compassion, understanding, justice and mercy. The word Islam comes from the same root as the word "peace" in Arabic. Islam is a religion that was sent down to offer people a life full of peace and tranquility where Allah's infinite mercy and compassion are manifested on earth. In the verses of the Quran, people are called to the morality of Islam as a model where mercy, compassion, love and peace can be experienced on earth. Allah informs the believers in the Quran as follows: O you who believe, enter "peace and security" (Islam) all together and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. For he is an open enemy to you. (Surat al-Baqara, 208) As explained in the verse, Allah informs people that their "security" can be ensured by living the morality of the Quran. According to the morality of the Quran, a Muslim is responsible for behaving well and justly towards all other people, whether they are Muslim or not, for protecting the weak and innocent, and for "preventing corruption on earth." Subversion is any kind of anarchy and terror that eliminates people's security, peace and tranquility on earth. As stated in a verse, "Allah does not love subversion." (Surat al-Baqarah, 205)

In a society where Islamic morality is practiced, peace, tolerance, reconciliation, forgiveness, love, compassion, cooperation, sacrifice and joy prevail. The killing of an innocent person is one of the greatest examples of subversion. Allah informs us of this command, which He had previously revealed to the Jews in the Torah, in the Qur'an as follows:
... Whoever kills a soul without retaliation for another soul or for causing corruption on earth, it is as if he had killed all mankind. And whoever brings him back to life (by preventing him from being killed), it is as if he has brought all mankind back to life... (Surat al-Maidah, 32)
As stated in the verse, a person who kills even a single person “not in retaliation for another soul or for causing corruption on earth” commits a crime as great as killing all mankind.
In this case, it is clear how great crimes the murders, massacres or “suicide attacks” committed by terrorists are. Allah informs us how this cruel face of terrorism is punished in the hereafter as follows:
The path is only against those who oppress people and commit ‘violence and injustice’ on earth without right. For them there is a painful punishment. (Surat ash-Shura, 42)
Organizing a terrorist act against innocent people is an act completely contrary to Islam and no Muslim can commit such a crime. On the contrary, Muslims are responsible for stopping the people who commit these crimes, for eliminating "subversion on earth" and for bringing peace and security to all people. Islam and terror cannot be considered together, on the contrary, religion is the preventer and solution of terror. This is the foundation of Islam, peace is the soul of Islam, but the exact opposite is true in the bigoted logic that bases Islam on superstitions rather than the Quran.
The problem with bigots is that they accept what they have learned from superstitions as religion. Strangely enough, those who criticize the fake religions of bigots can sometimes be as radical as they are and think that the superstitions of bigots are as true as they are. As long as evidence is provided from the Quran, they also try to provide evidence from the superstitions of bigots. This is where they make their biggest mistake. If they want to know the real Islam and find a solution to bigotry, they should listen to the real religion revealed in the Quran. Unless the difference between bigotry and Islam is revealed, radicalism and therefore Islamophobia will continue to surround the world as a great scourge.
For this reason, with a serious education campaign, the beautiful morality in the Quran, that is, the real Islam, should be explained and introduced to people all around the world at every opportunity, and the difference between bigotry and Islam should be revealed. The facts that Allah forbids corruption, encourages good morality, and that the best freedom of thought and democracy are in the Quran should be explained:
