It was a relatively normal day, I was at my grandpas house, miles away from other humans. it was also connected to various in use or abandoned ranches, stables, building etc. he owned none but it wasn’t like they were in use, so my cousin and I would go down a steep hill (20ft?) to explore. We were right by a forest It was always unsettling to young me, but that’s simply human instinct. We had gone farther than we ever had before, and I was so scared I convinced my cousin to let us back, we climbed back up near this open field in-front of the house, most were out around this time as it was nice outside. I still wasn’t feeling very good as I looked up to the sky to a “floating” bird, it wasn’t really gliding either, when bird glide they move just slightly, and its wings weren’t even out. not to mention there was ZERO wind. I would watch it sunddely extend its wings to flap for what seemed to be very 5 seconds on the clock. It never moved from that spot and it never stopped moving. By this point I knew my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me so I called my cousin over who then called my parents over. They all stared at it for minutes on it, I mean it was a clear feild, no powerlines or trees at all. Soon after my parents had us leave, and would refuse to answer my questions as to what was happening other than ,”there’s probably an explanation.” Don’t remember much else lol, but i remember the only place near was a seemingly non abandoned LARGE cartoonish castle, and I would call it the princess castle. (It was about 5-8 miles away for ref) I’ll try to find a photos after I post this since I don’t think anyone lives in either place anymore
