i currently have braces with powerchains and class II elastic on my right side. i have skeletal asymmetry in my jaws and face from mild scoliosis. awful infraorbital support and TMJ + 6 tooth smile (slightly narrow palate, leaves scalloping on tongue.)have been asking for double jaw surgery after my growth plates fuse, just to be met with a "you don't need that" from both parents even after explaining that if they would've listened to me years ago when i said my back was uneven that i maybe never had to have braces or elastics and maybe would've developed properly. my dad said insurance probably wouldn't cover it unless deemed medically necessary, but no shit?i also have narrow airways and am going to try to fake sleep apnea to my best ability. also wake up mouth breathing sometimes like a fucking chud.

Save up for lefort 1

Marpe + face puller and see physio asap

Unless u hve a severely narrow palate, I don’t rly recommend the use of marpe, or other similar treatments, they can often cause more asymmetry. I’d just save up for bimax

You have loose hyoid skin. This is most likely due to a lack of oral volume, which is caused by a narrow palate. You can test this by doing the tongue test: fully extend your tongue and observe whether the skin around the submental region tightens. If it does, that is a clear indicator that you lack oral volume. The reason for the "loose" hyoid is not fat, but rather a lack of oral volume, which causes the muscles and tissue to fall backward into the submental region.

Another thing I noticed is some apparent chin recession, which I initially identified using the Ricketts E line. Of course, this method isn’t completely accurate, so I looked into it further. I believe your chin itself is actually fine, however, it appears recessed because your mandible is recessed. In other words, your chin may be visually affected by the position of your jaw rather than being inherently deficient.

If you have any CBCT scans, I could look into this further. You also have a very good SNA angle and a relatively small philtrum, which is considered ideal. Your lip proportions, relative to the E-line, also appear to be well balanced.

Your last main issue is the lack of infraorbital support, but this can be addressed relatively easily with implants.

Option 1: Opt for a palate expander, ideally MARPE, followed by bimax. Infraorbital implants can then be considered later on.

Option 2: Segmented Le Fort I + BSSO.

larping sleep apnea dosent do shit
they X-RAY do a to know if you need it

I tried larping my way into a palete expander by biting down on my tounge for 2weeks straight and they didnt even believe me becouse the X-ray showed that I didnt need it:sadge:
anyways you might be able to get it at 18 if you find a chill insurance agent (if you acctually have narrow airways)
it sadly really depends on the guy you get some prescribe leforts 2s becouse of light sleep issues and some just give you a wentex

really appreciate this, can you edit to delete my photo? thanks

Loosing facial fat can give the illusion of forward growth and your only 14 so your genetics may allow your maxilla to grow further forward but other than that nothing you can do

You rope and hope that the samsara will make you incarnate in a better body.
