2-3 months of mewing and i still cant breathe through my nose while mewing.

Is it supposed to take this long to be able breathe through my nose while mewing? If not, then what am I doing wrong? (Btw I'm pretty sure I'm mewing correctly but sometimes I catch myself having a bad posture and not mewing)

I'm trying to put ALL of my back tongue on the roof of my mouth but when I do that I can't breathe AND I don't feel the tip of my tongue pushing at all (but it is touching the roof)
