A dating app observation: Men's preferences

I would like a girl who has my entire personality
I knew a guy who acted a lot like me. It was kinda uncanny. But a dude who has my entire personality, I wouldn't stand him for more than a minute

A girlfriend is not just a partner but a friend too. Isn’t that obvious? It’s easier to click that way. It’s way better when you share a hobby, bonus points if it’s one you can both geek out on. Me and my girl love anime, it’s how I started the conversation with her when I first met her

As of late I've been playing my fav mobile game: Hinge

A trend I've noticed is that many guys want a girl who has hobbies they align with their own. Examples being gym, video games (marvel rivals), smoking.

So why do men have the same standards for girls in this aspect as they would for friends. A friend is someone who one would want to share hobbies with. I never see girls say they want a man who is into shopping or makeup.
Not me, cat

What are you looking for then. Apart from my husband
I'm just a loyal friend, unless your husband looks like Candice, I mean.

Not one with tendencies towards emotional manipulation or who likes abuse (they are related, sometimes). That would be enough
