For more context as to what's been going on, refer to this thread: https://forum.looksmaxxing.com/threads/true-reason-why-this-forum-is-ass.82233/#post-1430599
But to keep things short my main point was to take this piss out of those who make threads titled "state of the forum" while posting a screenshot of low iq slop, ironically those users are not contributing anything to the forum themselves. Essentially they're also farming engagement, just in a different way
Com currently suffers from not only a low effort problem, but a creativity problem. I actually don't mind low iq shitpost, but it's also never executed effectively here.
• take @ItzyaboyJJ as an example, his threads will probably decrease your iq. And yet, they're actually entertaining. It's good banter and everyone gets a laff because they're usually high effort. He includes big text, reaction gifs, creative insults, and good formatting. That is what makes it so good and it is exactly what the forum is missing.
This is my average reaction to opening com nowadays:

But even then I believe we can fix this. There are some things I've thought of that may or may not save the forum. Here is what you can do as a:
PRODUCER:
• NO chatgpt
- it is painfully obvious when you use it, I think it can be used effectively for very minimal brainstorming and research. But do not become codependent on it, it will r**e your creativity
• tag me @choppedshyt if you have a high effort thread that meets these requirements and I will do my part in trying to keep the engagement going and bumping them.
- Remember that it doesn't even have to be giga high iq, it could be as retarded as a banter evisceration thread. Just so long as it follows proper formatting, creativity, and is high effort
• the general consensus around looksmaxxing is that "everything has been talked about already". This is ultimately an S tier way to cope with being uncreative.
The thing with creativity is that it stems from curiousity. Creativity is a skill not a talent, you just have to find it in you to always ask questions.
Let's take eyebrows for example, they are arguably the most talked about looksmax.
As a mental exercise I want you to take a second to think about what you could possibly talk about in regards to eyebrowmaxxing, then I'll provide some examples in the spoiler below. Ask yourself: why, why not, under what circumstances should I do/not do this, how, etc.
You could apply this thought process to anything in the world, this is just an example. But try to train your brain to think like this and you will never have to resort to low effort posts for some dopamine
HOW TO EFFECTIVELY ENGAGEMENT FARM
Believe it or not, I actually don't have anything against engagement farming as a concept. It keeps the place active and can sometimes spark debate. The problem me and many other users have is that they are beyond low effort, and they don't even leave space for good answers. It's usually a "yes or no" question that goes on for 7 pages.
I will demonstrate a bad example of an engagement farm vs a good one by using @hannah as an example, our newest Threadoplasty patient!
BEFORE:

AFTER:

The replies to the first one are mostly trolls or people giving the most low effort response (obviously). The second version would also have people trolling, but there would be some high effort responses in the process, there would be people debating. Exactly what the forum needs. Ultimately the second one is more effective at engagement farming
But if you are not interested in producing content, here is what you can do as a user:
• Ignore any low effort attempts to engagement farm
- shitty e beef, engagement farming, chatgpt slop all fall under this category, you get the gist
• Bump and interact with every thread you see that promotes high effort thinking/formatting
- give gold reps, good for dopamine
• Follow me
Ye ye, this is pretty much all I can think of at the moment. I believe if my advice is applied and taken seriously this forum will see its glory days again. We can make com great again!

Here is what I've thought of personally:
• Should eyebrows be darker or lighter than scalp hair? Why/why not?
• If yes, by how many shades? Should it vary by undertone?
• If not, how would you match brows to hair so they look balanced?
• Which brow shapes suits deep set eyes and which suit protruding eyes?
• Which thickness works best for different face widths?
