Pretty common on these forums too. Even though it's harder to detect rhetorical devices online, it's still very telling when users fail to do it

The most basic example of this is a gl guy saying something stupid on purpose, basically flexing ("i'm gl, so doing and saying stupid shit doesnt hurt me at all"), and some r****d permavirgin with 0 social experience getting both a dopamine and a cortisol spike simultaneously, thinking: "what an idiot, xd, why are chads so low iq, unlike me, an avid 200 iq wiki reader, specially on friday and saturday nights!" to himself
