accepting you're not exceptional is very freeing

i think the medias we all consumed as kids made us all believe we were some sort of chosen one exceptional individual that's just so unique compared to the rest and destined for greatness . i don't think having this view of yourself is bad but it leads a lot of people to behave in a way that's just not normal , especially since for 90% of people that view is just flawed since most of us won't accomplish things worth remembering . accepting that you're a regular person is actually helpful because you stop dissociating yourself from others and stop viewing them from this high ground you subconsiously built in your mind

What if i don't wanna accept that

Yeah being performative in vain is a really negative feeling
