And for your question, anyone who uses accutane with more than minor acne will need to use a retinoid for the acne scars.

If your acne isnt that bad just use tazarotene or tretinoin

If it is severe use accutane first and then use tazarotene

None is "better" than the other because the work differently
If the sole use is to get rid of acne, accutane is better.

I was on tret and taz for a whole year and I don't have terrible acne rn but its like close condomes or wtv and I need them gone so I can finally micro needle

Closed commedomes aren't a reason not to microneedle, it will be better if you did
