Do you guys have any tips for getting rid of body acne scarring? I think my soap was giving me acne for a while on my chest and shoulders. I finally fixed it but now I have a bunch of scars I need to get rid of

Since the skin is thicker on the body you could probably get away with using a mild or deep peeling solution

Theres 2 types of acne scarring: PIH or textural scars.
Most chest and shoulder acne scars are PIH, which fade gradually with care.

Exfoliation in areas of scarring
Niacinamide
Retinoids
Chemical peels for the body
Microneedling
Laser treatments

You could try and find dermatologist tier chemical peels but I wouldn't know where to find them. You could just go and see a dermatologist if you're really concerned about it.

best exfoliators for your case would be

Alpha Hydroxy Acid
Glycolic acid
Lactic acid

I just looked up some products that have this and you're right ordinary does do them
Glycolic acid body lotion (lThe Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution)
AmLactin or CeraVe SA Lotion (lactic acid + moisturizer)

and also theres Beta Hydroxy Acid aka mainly salicylic acid which is great for acne scarring on the chest and back
