go to a psychiatrist a cheap one is fine or even an online one especially amazon pharmacy or a compounding pharmacy they’re MADE to shill drugs
complain about easy obvious adhd symptoms:
low attention
constant need of stimulation
mind racing
low work performance
always sleepy
get a testimony from a friend or boss (or parent if ur underage)
mention buzzwords like “adhd”, “inattentive”, “tired but wired”, “hating going to work bc fearing low performance”
likely you will be asked about addy xr, focalin, vyvanse, and ritalin for mainlines for stims
deny any of the stim alternatives and claim stims have worked for others in ur family
methylphenidates and amphetamines are close together but amphetamines will give u more of a stim-like rush; yet it depends for u
modafinil is the true superdrug but thats never first-line, so dont ask for it immediately, and see about the other stims first
whatever u do do not say the words “stims”, “addy”, “high”, and most likely “dopamine” (tho thats case based)
just look like someone with low knowledge and say you’ve had stims like caffeine before and caffeine has helped (also mention nic if ur above 21) but that its not enough for ur condition
focalin is a more compressed ritalin
adderall is the classic and will likely work the best for “stim” feel
ritalin is a good nice drug but its not gonna be the best
vyvanse is good but may not be covered by some insurance, but is still good
XR will be given first, IR hits harder and faster but only ask for it a. if xr doesnt work or b. if you go for a second appt and say xr doesnt work
