hey, this is my first thread and i wanted to know if there was any good advice for freshman year, i have no friends, no relationships with anyone, no other family members in highschool, and the only good qualities of me are knowing how to dress and being smart (150 iq) i dont really like talking to random people to make friends but i may, lmk if there are anythings i should do that aren't obvious

First advice would be not to go up to people and start talking about your iq but
Yeah you’re kinda just gonna have to start talking to random people. During orientation, anyone that sits besides you in class, join clubs etc. once you become friends with 2-3 people you can get to know their friends and grow your circle that way.
