AI is the first time I've seen when boomers seem to have a more positive view of new technology than younger gens do

Tell me what to change
Thanks

I was compiling the lab report for organic chemistry during my final semester when I realized everyone but me and this one girl in the group used AI to write their sections

It was kinda funny because they would mix real paragraphs in sometimes and you could immediately tell why they took the risk

This reminds me

So many people think that the dashes are what you can use to tell if something is AI or not
But its really a lot more about a specific weird sentence structure

A lot of times I see posts online that are obvious AI and people responding to it not realizing this

Really makes you take the internet even less seriously

huge difference between your senile grandparents using AI and graduate student using AI related to their field. it's like giving a blind person vr goggles

True but different from the colloquial definition

Not talking about using AI to predict protein structures but chat GPT and image generation
any major, like a psychologist would see through an AI just validating their feelings but a teenage girl would take its output at face value and break up with her bf over some trivial shit. you see this with some looksmaxxers running peptide stacks thinking they're chemistry majors.

Very annoying when you've a group project and reading what your peers have written, and it's just AI slop. For some reason, the people rating them haven't picked up on those AI signals.

It's even more obvious in math, since AI tends to approach certain problems in a peculiar way, nothing like what's taught in the courses.
