putting a pedo in maximum security prison means they cant do anything, so you're preventing the loss of innocent lives being violated or taken away, without killing people. As much as I hate to say it, they are still people. Terrible, heinous people but the thing is they have lost their right to live freely, not to live at all.

I agree with you that the justice system does not go hard enough on pedos, but I still think life sentence is too much. Im 15 and have been targeted by human trafficking units and groomed online before, so I promise this isn't me being insensitive. I hate pedophiles with a passion, but I think we could seriously find methods of rehabilitation if we could study their minds and then we could actually push forward on this problem and reduce it.
Maybe they don't deserve it, but I'm religious which probably makes me illogical but Ive just accepted it as true that all humans deserve a right to live and we should avoid taking away that right at all costs, that's probably where we have to agree to disagree

i think our only difference at this point is principle of how we view them i can relate to the same sentiment of being groomed as i also have as well as have been r***d multiple times. i understand where you are coming from but i personally think that they deserve the utmost punishment possible just due to how i view the severity of the crime i think that sexual assault is the highest degree of cruelty possible and it needs to be eliminated by any means necessary i hate the idea of killing people i think its disgusting and terrifying ive seen a person die infront of me and i hope i never witness that again. with that said regardless of how cruel the punishment may be in my personal opinion pedophilia or sexual assault will ALWAYS be worse.
