Fuck your teacher, tell me the last time you’ve had to use advanced geometry/trig/calculus etc in your day to day life. It’s so rare of an occurrence in casual settings (unless your career depends on it) I’ve taken an IQ test and I tested above average and I’m relatively poor at math compared to my other subjects. Don’t sweat it, the future is bright, teacher is just ignorant and shouldn’t be teaching is all

But he’s right
I don’t think so, obviously basic skills are important but imo everything after 8th grade is just extra and less important math knowledge

For college just take your time and take a placement test, and work your way through an online supporting curriculum. Will it take more time? YES. Is that inherently bad if it gets you a better end result? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Everyone has a diff pace brotha don’t sweat it

Nah, you take it right before a semester to become better whatever type of math you’re working on. Did wonders for me, was able to get over 93% in classes for math so far in college

I never payed attention in math and only memorised what I needed to know for comp sci and tests. Anyways studies link intelligence to more complex and creative works such as literacy and sciences over mathematics
