An overlooked reason why cheating is bad

Even if you remove the fact that you can't like 2 people at once, there's the simple fact of love often requiring sacrifice. We often shun alcoholic parents for example and I don't see a difference. Both are a biological need we refuse to supress for our own selfish desires regardless of how it impacts others, only cheating is far easier to supress. Why? Well you notice ur attraction or thoughts and adress them correctly. There's always solutions for thoughts of cheating while with an addiction there's nothing that can be done other than roughing it out.

I don't see a thing for cheating love is love and when you find one you can't let go there is no other if you cheat your other is just not good enough for you

If you love someone you will always feel the same. It might not be as exciting but you still love them, and you don't have 2nd thoughts.

Love requires maturity I think they've done genuine studies on this and their definitions of love would be alot weaker than mine.

It's not something you can define but, most people say they love just anyone these days right? Like their friend, everyone they ever get with, etc. But who's the one who stays above all them no matter what? Family. I believe unless you feel as strongly about your person as you do your family and are willing to go as far, you don't love them, only like.

In Asian culture they rarley say I love you for example, if they do its during a serious or intimate moment. They prefer to show their care through actions.

I dont think it starts by sexual attraction first? atleast for me its like something they are so beautiful even if they are no longer considered theres just something i can admire them forever
