Just approach them as you would approach a girl who you'd wanna talk to and become friends with so the conversation is more natural and if you click then escalate. If you both have drinks in you it should be golden. Slight work soon enough bro. Try to stand out before hand, catch their attention and if you get an ioi approach. Higher odds that way

Yeah bro if you approach with the mindset of becoming friends then you'll be relaxed and easygoing. And if you get rejected it's just one less friend that you didn't need anyway.
