Listen up, you mugs with the razor-sharp jawlines and the thousand-yard thousand-candle stares.

Name’s Seymour. Private eye. Used to tail dames in speakeasies and shake down bookies for two-bit information.

These days I’m tailing something far more dangerous:

My own reflection.

Yeah. Turns out the real two-timing broad was the guy staring back at me in the bathroom mirror every morning.

Five-foot-eleven on a good day, recessed chin softer than a politician’s promise, orbitals so negative they’re practically in witness protection.

I’ve been getting played by my own face for thirty-odd years and I only just caught on.

So I lit a cigarette, turned up the collar on my trench, and followed the trail of breadcrumbs straight to this gin-joint you call Looksmaxxing.com

Word on the street is you fellas know things.

Dark things. Mewing. Chewing mastic till your masseters pop like overcooked sausages. Volufiline. HGH peptides smuggled in from Moldova. Bonesmashing—yeah I heard that one too, sounded like something I’d do to a snitch, not my own zygos.

You got the whole playbook: failos, halo, PSL, forward growth, compact midface, compact palate, compact dignity. I’m drowning in the lingo already and I haven’t even finished my first cup of joe.

I ain’t here to charm nobody. I got no before-and-afters worth posting yet—my “before” is currently starring in every low-budget tragedy from 1932 to next Tuesday. But I’m willing to learn the trade. I’ll log. I’ll measure. I’ll tape my tongue to the roof of my mouth till I talk like a man with a permanent lisp. Hell, I’ll even stare at that little red dot on the ceiling fan if you tell me it’ll give me positive canthal tilt.

So here’s the pitch, you hard-faced torpedoes,

One washed-up flat-nosed detective looking for a crew that can turn a 4.5 into something that doesn’t get cropped out of group photos. You got room for one more poor sap who’s tired of losing staring contests with his own shadow?I’m all ears.
And apparently all mandible too, according to the last girl who laughed when I tried to smirk.

Yours in the shadows,

Seymour

There is a mystery on this forum we need to solve, I picked you to help me

leans back in a creaky wooden chair, fedora tipped low over one eye, cigarette dangling from his lip as smoke curls toward the ceiling fan

Listen, dollface… this ain’t just another two-bit missing necklace or jealous-husband-with-a-rod job. This one’s got more twists than a speakeasy back alley at 3 a.m.

I got bodies droppin’ like drunks off a fire escape, clues that disappear faster than bootleg hooch at a raid, and a trail of blood leading straight to half the big shots in this town.

The Commissioner’s breathin’ down my neck, the papers are screamin’ for headlines, and every time I turn around some shadowy mug’s tailin’ me in a black sedan with the curtains drawn.

Me? I’m good with a .38, better with my fists, and best at gettin’ slugged in the back of the head when I’m not lookin’.

But math? Codes? High society gossip? Figurin’ out why a dame in a silver gown would leave a diamond-studded cigarette case next to a stiff in a flop-house bathtub? That ain’t my beat, sister.I need someone who can read between the lines when the lines are written in invisible ink. Someone who don’t faint at the sight of a little blood… or a lotta blood. Someone who can charm a telephone operator out of a name, sweet-talk a file clerk into lookin’ the other way, and maybe—God help us—keep me from gettin’ plugged before I figure out who’s behind this whole rotten mess.So whaddaya say, kid? You in? Or you gonna leave a hard-luck gumshoe like me to drown in his own bad breaks and cheap bourbon? ’Cause right now… I’m fresh outta luck and shorter on time than a two-dollar watch.

Ok. I know a lot of things. 3x4=12

I’m in. And I thought only Redditors wear fedora hats

Listen, wise guy, you're in? Welcome to the crew, kid. We'll crack these mysteries wide open, one shadowy lead at a time, and I got your back long as you keep your eyes peeled and your yap shut when it counts.

As for that crack about "only Redditors wear fedoras"... ha, cute. This lid's been on my noggin since before your precious subreddits were even a twinkle in some basement-dweller's eye. Keeps the rain off, the glare down, and lets the right people know exactly who they're dealin' with. You wanna play detective? Grab one. Or don't. Just don't cry when the clues start slippin' right past that bare dome of yours.

Now quit yer wise-crackin' and tell me what ya got on that last tip. Clock's tickin', partner.

Don’t tell me what to do.

I ate a sandwish.

Alright, tough guy, "don't tell me what to do"

I get it, you're a lone wolf with a chip on your shoulder the size of a fedora.

But listen close: these cases don't crack themselves, see? One wrong move solo and we're both sleepin' with the fishes. We need each other, your street smarts, my nose for trouble. Team up or get buried alone. Your call, partner.
