I agree with the latter to be honest. True loneliness and crippling isolation was and still is one of the worst feelings I’ve ever gone/going through, especially on years at a time it has done so much damage to my psyche to the point of it being traumatic and I don’t know when I will ever recover.

I very much sympathise with people who go to great lengths to cope with it because of how debilitating it is, insanity in loneliness is a very scary place to be.

Isolation was one of the worst choices I ever made.

I know people suck but we are all innately social beings, “It is not good that man should be alone”

I was spiteful and hated humanity with every fiber of my being but paradoxically my life was more dangerous when I trusted no one juxtaposed to trusting everyone.

Human beings are truly capable of warmth, I overestimated what could go wrong before realising I underestimated what can and will go right.
