anyone got experience with homebrew servers

homebrew actually tastes decent
add teabags tho

well i was looking into making my own server cloud storage thing but wasnt sure what the best route to go about it would be for a beginner r****d like myself
i only wanna host pretty basic media and have a bit of experience w raspberry pis so should i do a pihole type thing?
sorry if im babbling i havent looked into it a lot bc ive just had exams but ye :)

Ohhh like a NAS? I wanted to set up one too this summer, I’ll have to work with a lot of projects in premiere and I don’t want to r**e all the storage on my pc. It’s pretty costly tho, the nas alone is like 200$

Yes a raspberry pi is def more than enough for a simple NAS. One only thing you’d be missing out on if ur using a pi compared to a pc is customizing the raid setups for ur hard drives. But if the data isn’t that important ig u don’t rly need to worry about it

please dont use homebrew for a cloud storage.
