i know everyone talks about tanmaxxing but i'm wondering where the line is. some people look insane after getting darker and other people just look orange and somehow worse. is there an actual skin tone contrast thing going on or is this mostly placebo?

I think it all depends on style and type of tab, those frat girls who tan a bunch and look orange with big asf lashes and a chad jawline and lowk ugly ash, but like a nice girl with a hourglass and dark features would look decent with a tan. And in men I feel it is the same, dark features look good with a tan (so dark eyez/hair) but light features with a tan look odd (but appeal to some)
