Yeah i can see your point icl, but lets also see it from her perspective, correct me if im wrong but shes just prolly a teenager that experiencing love as something new, the first love of your life is usually the strongest youll feel ever but at the same time it also has such a small chance of ending up being something youll keep for the rest of your life, this combined with the normalization of the routine and trying to avoid conflict just makes relationships last longer even if both knew after two years of realtionship that it couldnt end up well. Also some people just dont show their real self until for example you move out with them and start seeing how they really are. Because you can be in a relationship with someone for 5 years but seeing each other once every other week.
