Are palate expanders legit

I need to widen my narrow palate, does anyone have experience with them and which ones would you recommend

I widened my palate in 6 months doing tongue chewing soft gum. I've see good results from MSE and FAGGA. But MSE will leave you with a gap in your tooth that will need braces to correct.

FAGGA is a meme. its only useful on really recessedcels (just get surgery kek) or if you have tmj issues
