Ideal male is supposed to be tall, medium to large frame with good muscle mass with defined and rugged facial features.

Ideal female is supposed to be gracefully slender or slim, with sharp angular defined facial features. Female should be shorter than her male partner.

Male and female offspring that inherit ideal phenotypic traits are genetic winners with high SMV. Unfortunately these traits are not gender specific or directly linked to gender. Your genes are a combination from both parents. Due to genetic recombination, the traits that are expressed are a crapshoot.

Which means you can have daughters that have a large frame, large jaw, with strong rugged masculine features like the father. Example: Rumer Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.

Likewise you can have sons with small/skinny frame, soft features inherited from their mother. If there is a huge height discrepancy between father and mother it could negatively impact the son’s potential adult height

So if the male and female offspring do not have the ideal phenotypic traits, are they genetic losers? Please share your opinion on this.

This picture also illustrates my point. This female model for Barenia fragrance is clearly a ectomorph, nice and slim body with sharp angular features. Has she been born a male, she would have been considered a genetic loser. Right?

The men are losers

skinny guys can build the best physiques.
The only problem is that ectomorph men have to continuously stay active and intense in their workout regime in order to maintain the physique. Otherwise they become skinny fat usually after 2-3 years, I know this personally all too well.

Women tend to prefer mesomorphic men. During their prime, mesomorphic men can stay lean and muscular even if they eat crap. By the time they reach middle age they become the typical dad bod build at the suburban neighborhood. Won't matter by then though as they will already have married a woman and impregnated her with his sperm and done his biological j*b of passing down his genes.

Are you sure rugged looking women do not also face some difficulties in attracting a mate? I'm pretty sure most men want a feminine looking women not a masculine looking one like Brock Lesnar's daughter:
