Are there any product that might give my hair a less dead look while keeping its volume ?

i dont use products, i have good volume
dont wash hair excessively and dont use bad shampoo/conditioner. also dont use heat on the hair or other chemicals

Also towel drying is awful for hair

imo this isn't true, unless your roughly drying it. Just pat try until slightly damp then use hairdryer on lowest heat setting and med speed and dry for 10-15 seconds. Then just scrunch your hair not too rough but fairly firm and you'll have peak texture

Maybe with microfiber towel, average towel is too rough on hair

like I said before as long as your pat drying it'll be fine, plus hair is only weak when it is wet, that's why i recommended using a hair dryer on its lowest setting in order to fix that problem. Normal towels are fine as long as you're careful with your hair when it is wet
