Tbh, the only way you could now for sure is if you apply language tests, to know if you are talking to an AI, not turings test like the interpretation of math above a high school degree as well as doing rules on the interaction and then overriding the rules. Like telling the AI to assume that a falsehood is true and then asking them the question if it is not true.

That only aplies to LLM, as that how they are programmed to do, other ai models may be more iddn line to deny you that, but depends on the specifictity of the LLM.

As well apart from quick summaries and guidance in looking up things i think AI is pretty useless as a tool.

Useless if you ask me, specially when you can just google it and get the facts better and with more depth with just a few simple tricks.
