I think if you go the arranged marriage route you should then atleast stay engaged for a year first so you can properly get to know that person. Or else you might find out after getting married that you’re not compatible after all

In this time basically they meet by themselves usually, then the guy comes with his family to the girl’s household ( preferably also with his parents it’s more respectful). Then the guy has a discussion with the girl’s dad ( or uncles or mother depending on the situation) he can be validated or not. If they’re young I think it’s the dads who discuss it.
