"Good" is arbitrary. Sometimes Asians look very good with completely flat maxillas and would look weird if they weren't flat. Some don't.

Maybe, but not in this case. Language is a living thing and most people have associated the word "Asian" with Mongoloid people for more than a century already. And it is Mongoloid people that occupy most of Asia.

People shouldn't have to use more syllables than necessary to avoid offending Karens like you when most normal people know what they're talking about.

I'm gonna say "Asians", and not East Asians.

I'm gonna say "blacks", and not African Americans.

It gets the point across.

How is it weird when that's what people have been doing for decades and is accepted by the majority. I say people who don't think of mongoloids when they hear "Asian" are wired. Either weird or just being a problematic asshole.
