think about this: as you get older during puberty you get taller. Your bones get longer. Thus, they grow. Your skull gets bigger too, every part of you gets bigger from conception all the way up to tanner stage 5. To say that your bones don’t grow as you develop doesn’t make sense. They might stay in relatively the same position, but they don’t stay the same size.
