I've heard azelaic acid is great for your skin and its pretty cheap, is it better to use this and try to make a skin care routine or just hop on accutane and deal with the side effects

What side effects? there's barely any. muhh dry lips (use Vaseline or Aquaphor), muhh raised liver enzymes (take NAC or TUDCA, or just learn how to dose it properly ffs).
