Just as many other things like gender, race, and like. everything. ive come to the conclusion that beauty standards and our perception of an ugly person will never be objectively true and is made up purely to benefit capitalism and rich white men.

Beauty standards change wherever you go in the world. I often compare it to morality. You probably think murder is objectively wrong but is it really an objective truth if there are people who think it's not wrong? There's only one objectively true thing in this world and it is math. 1+1 will always equal 2 because no matter what language and how we say it, if you put 1 object next to another 1 object there will be 2. But, as I get older and I meet more people I've come to realize how critical people are of looks and how no one is objectively "ugly." We are all generations of people who loved eachothwds DNA made up, what is ugly about love? Ive tried to ask my friends what they think and they always say something like "ohh but some people ARE ugly.." like no not really? If you try to see the beauty in some things you find it in everything.

We don't live 500 years in the past, we live now. Even if you wanna argue that standards of attractiveness social construct, you can't use this to cope with the fact that they are very much real.


Saying "these standards are unattinable" is cope, because they are unattainable for YOU. Obviously attractive features will be unattainable to most, since they only appear in a fraction of the population

perfection is the only beauty in the universe as all other "good" things are just lesser versions of it

so not being perfection means you are disgusting.
