this may be a little off the wagon but I’ve been wondering who determines what makes someone beautiful.

In Asian countries that typically have darker skinned people the standards are to be lighter while in more predominantly white areas the goal is to be tan.

Upturned noses have been “in” but now I wonder what makes a more pronounced nose so ugly?? Guys are still considered cute with a big nose while girls don’t get to have that privilege because it doesn’t look dainty and feminine

The skin color thing is about class. In Asian countries having pale skin meant you weren't working in the rice paddy all day. In Europe it meant you could afford to spend time leisurely playing in the sun.

its just how its supposed to be
males = masculine
females = feminine
if a female has a big nose ( masculine ) she'll look less attractive than a female with a smaller nose
