Title: Beginner to mewing – headaches, TMJ, saliva issues… need help

Issues:
  • Excess saliva (pooling like crazy)
  • Can’t hold suction mew long
  • Tension headaches → makes me stop doing it consistently
  • Swallowing too much → stomach feels off
  • Can’t maintain at night (even with nose dilator)

Also:
  • Still tongue thrusting when I swallow
  • Teeth together feels right but causes pain/TMJ
  • Teeth apart → tongue pushes forward doesn't seem correct the posture

Questions:
  • Teeth together or slightly apart?
  • How to fix tongue thrust when swallowing
  • How to avoid headaches/TMJ from mewing?
  • How to hold suction longer without fatigue? - I'm not trying to hard mew
  • Anyone else get stomach issues from saliva when swallowing thei own saliva?

Precciate it if yall can give me some advice
