It seems more fun to split tasks than to delegate them to a single person. I remember a newly wed aunt and uncle come visit my family towards the end of last summer. Whenever they would cook, they'd cook together. Imagine getting to spend more time next to your partner simply by doing housekeeping tasks with them.
