This is a pretty specific complaint and I don't know how well it actually aligns with other people's experiences but out of everyone I've ever talked to, as a guy who enjoys listening to Lana it's immediately seen as performative. But then when certain people use her songs for thirst traps online it only increases their female appeal. And then this is backed up again when people who aren't objectively attractive claim to be fans where it's then performative. So I'm starting to think that it genuinely does not mather what your interests are and it's just about your looks. it's a nice analogy for the girls who act like they care about personality above all else
