This is such a weird but awesome story to tell.
I’m not gonna go to personal and such but let me tell you this.
When I was 6 I lived at my grandmothers house with my older sister,my uncle and aunt and cousins.
It’s a house with 2 stories,my grandma lives downstairs and my aunt and uncle live upstairs.
And I lived there till I was 13 and one thing about me is that I had dark blonde hair at that time and I used to be the only one getting sunburns.
What’s strange is that before a baby is born the parents hope that their child will have blonde hair and be white for some reason I never really understood.
I remember once my little cousin before she was born my aunt hoped she’ll be blonde like whattttt??
What’s the reason for that anyways
Apparently being white=being an angel for in Jordan and I’ve never experienced anything like this in any other country like it’s like you get praised if you have blonde hair.
If you’re a male infant for example If you have blonde hair your parents will make the hair grow out like a girl till you’re like 6.
But if you had regular brown or black hair it would be just cut short that’s the standard

Btw I have lots of stories from that era so lmk if y’all want more.

This how I feel when I go visit my family. They're so obsessed with their kids turning out pale. When I was three I got a sunburn and everyone blamed my sister for not putting enough sunscreen on me and were worried I'd get dark 😭 even our mom was pissed at her

I’m naturally pretty light and my family members would ask me what whitening products I used to stay my color. Shit was so weird

My cousins would tell me not go in the sun so I won’t get tanned
