I can understand why you might have felt the way you did before. There is a lot of propaganda aimed against us (which is also spread by Indians).

So a popular misconception is that Pakistan broke away from India. This isn’t true. Both India and Pakistan were created after the British left.

Another misconception is the name India itself. It’s a Greek term with means “land of the Indus River.” If you look at the map, the Indus River flows in Pakistan.

When they say Alexander the Great invaded ancient India, it’s actually modern-day Pakistan they are talking about and not modern-day India.

I understand it’s confusing but I hope I cleared up some misconceptions.
