Best countries to live in

Barely red🤔
Most countries are actually decent it's just living in lower socioeconomic areas that makes things shitty

In terms of having a roof over your head, food to eat and overall safety and happiness

@ey88

I was born less than a 100km from Singapore

Malaysia is considered very high

But Singapore is 5th in the world

This map seems so flawed. Mexico has 9 out of 10 cities with the highest murder rates in the world and its HDI is "high"? Meanwhile Pakistan is supposedly as bad as Afghanistan; a war-torn country? The Pakistani patriot in me suspects some Indian meddling in the making of this map! :200iq: :200iq: :200iq: :200iq:

The HDI index was developed by a Pakistani

Said Pakistani was one of the greatest economists to date

The HDI index is not a clear cut indication of how great human life is in the country, and it doesn't take into account for the different regions of the nations.

The graph of India would look different if it was separated into states lol since one of the factors in the HDI calcs is education and income

I feel like it's the same in Pakistan because there's a lot of highly developed neighborhoods but also poorly developed neighborhoods. I have been to both during my November 2024 trip.
