best diet for gaining heathily?

Drink milk, a couple of glasses is probably around 400 calories and has solid protein.

First look at the bright side... you're not overweight.

Make it a point to eat regular meals, preferably 4 or more a day, set times when you will eat and actually do it.
Try to aim for 75% healthy food and 25% "less than optimal" food, trying to gain weight eating just chicken and broccoli is madness.
Maybe eat 3 healthy meals, and one "unhealthy" meal each day, milk is good, try drinking milk with every meal if you struggle to eat a lot of food, if you like pizza then have pizza everyday (in moderation), eggs are really good, oatmeal, peanut butter and jam sandwiches are really good for gaining weight, pasta with ground beef (preferably not medium or regular, too fatty), sandwiches with deli meat like salami/ham/pepperoni.

im 5’7 and 98 pounds, so very underweight, what foods/diet would help with gaining muscle and some fat but wouldn’t screw up the rest of my health?
You are crazy, a lot of women around here want to be verry skinny and do everything to avoid getting muscle.

This thread is pointless: there are already threads on working out.

Im pretty similar because I used to be 5’7 1/2 and 101 lbs but im 115 lbs now. I put olive oil on a lot of foods because its like 100 calories for a tablespoon, I eat a lot of dried fruit, & nuts. Also going to the gym

nuts are full of carbs, they have more carbs then high processed snaks like doritos. Also, fruits are fast carbs processing and those basically makes you hungry, their energy dont last long.

Best idea is to apply ketosis if you want to loose weight.

Just eat whatever in excess and work out

You should figure out ur basal metabolic rate, which is the amount of calories your body burns daily
There are tons of sites that can do it for you
Once you know that number gaining weight is as easy as eating a few hundred calories over that number
I do recommend you stick to a mainly organic diet and cut out any and all processed garbage
Good stuff is Avocados, Eggs, Lean meats, Bread (but be careful, too much bread can be detrimental to ur skin), fruits like blueberries and bananas are great, carrots, rice, etc
Bad stuff is Candy, Fast food, potato chips, Dairy products (Fine when eaten in smaller amounts but there's a lot of cases of dairy being a big contributor to acne), stay away from most sweet things that aren't fruit tbh
