best lenght for a perm ?

id figures d have to grow all my hair out until at least May or June but I'm feeling it should be longer then that I'm going for a curly hair perm to try and maximse the pretty boy ashetic

My hair length as we speak is 20cm (so 8 inches), you need half of that to look good imo, Ecpect better results in sptember than may/june tbh
