Semax

JPEG-Bild.webp

Semax is a peptide that can cross the blood brain barriet and activate Brain-Derived
Neurotrophic Factor. It can be used for both general cognition and neuroprotection.

Adderall
IMG_4746.webp

Adderall was developed for the treatment of
ADHD and increases the release of neurotransmitters.

- Cerebrolysin

JPEG-Bild.webp

Originally developed to treat neurodegenreative diseases, cerebrolysin also activates BDNF and is likely much more effective than semax for general cognition enhancement.

- Dihexa

JPEG-Bild.webp

Dihexa mimics hepatocyte growth factor to similarly stimulate BDNF. It's likely very optent but has much less human data than most other nooptropics.
Dihexa is a nootropic and experimental peptide. This peptideoxanandrolon compound works in memory and brain repair. The nootropic can increase brand new synaptic connections, helping in learning and cognition. Howeverr it has yet to be proven in human trials. Most data are available from animal studies

Quick nuance to note, injectable semax does not cross the BBB, you'll only experience the anxiolytic effects rather than neurogenesis. On the other hand, nasal administration does cross the BBB, making it the superior administration method.

To add, it may be pharmacologically active when injected, but it will definitely require higher doses. It won’t bypass BBB when injected. It's quite a large peptide, 900Da or something, and has no brain transporters. You might get passive diffusion, but it’s negligible.

Hence, why I prefer nasal administration.
