Looking to prevent hair loss/thicken my hair as much as I can without using fin or minox, scared of side effects. Did some research and I'd like to try the natural route. If it doesn't work then I'll try fin and minox. I saw a study (ill link below) that pumpkin seed oil can regrow hair. I'll link the one I'm looking at currently below too. Also looking at castor oil as well, but still reading around about it. Anyone else know of some promising oils that can help either slow hair loss, regrow, or thicken hair?

Also wanna add, my hair is about 1 on the norwood scale. Noticing slight receeding at hairline and loss of thickness atm. Crown of my head looks good atm but am worried it won't be in the future. Dad still has good hair at 45-50 so hopefully my genetics will help.

Not an oil but take zinc concentrate, helped me with my hair regrowth. Also you should do some sort of massage near you hairline to oxygenize the hair follicles in that region.

Never heard about the zinc concentrate but I'll look into it. I've also heard about that scalp massage thing, I do it in the shower for about a minute or less, all around my hairline and crown of my head already. Unsure if it makes a difference. Maybe longer duration massage?

.... not sure what that means. Educate me.

Edit: nvm i got google. I'll probably start with PSO and see if it helps, its the only oil backed by a study. Just wanted to hear what y'all recommend/know abt this topic. If PSO even helps with thickness I'd be happy.

Stop coping and hop on duta or ru58841, add as a solution

Not hoping on drugs atm, just wanted to see if y’all know about any NATURAL oils/methods that can help regrow, thicken, or prevent loss. Gotta re-read post m8

Edit: gonna try out pumpkin seed oil, will report back if it works.

Bump

Edit: has anyone on here used pumpkin seed oil for hair?
Only has eaten pumpkin seeds for the zinc, take zinc supplements and if you want a hair regrowth guide I can make one since I was like 2 on the Norwood scale and now I'm back at light 1.

Okay but keep in mind it was ingested PSO, not topical, and also the placebo group gained 10% so it wasn't aggressive AGA but more like a telogen/anagen phase. Oils like castor oil, rice bran, mustard and PSO need to be diluted with alcohol in order to go through the first layers of skin, where the follicles roots are.
Also essential oils like rosemary, black pepper, red pepper, peppermint etc need to be diluted in those mix of oils/alcohol.

Btw if you're prone to be AGA bald, no amount of natural oils will save your hair, because DHT need to be under control with a DHT blocker like Finastéride. The "anti-DHT" topical products like oils & minox are extremely mild, mean no results.
