expander or mse most likely maybe braces but i think they are dangerous

i know nothing about braces im just gonna ask whoevers doing it that it wont do anything like make my lower third shorter or make my midface longer etc

palatal expander could be weird bc it expands the upper palate and i already have decent zygo width with a narrowish jaw so i could turn out looking like an alien
