I used to having blonde wavy hair growing up, but now I have curly brunette hair (that turns a lot lighter when in the sun).

I hate my hair when it is curly.

Curly hair has literally no appeal. If you disagree, argue with a wall.

Up until 2 weeks ago, I was dealing with my curls by using a flat iron every morning just enough to make it wavy (not pin straight). However, this is extremely damaging to the hair of course (even when using heat protectants). 2 weeks ago, I got a hair botox treatment at a salon which worked wonders. However, even with only 2 washes, it is getting curly again.

What is the best way to go from 3b to 2b hair for a while?

Every salon says keratin will make it too straight. I tried explaining that I am pretty sure it won't if I leave it in for less time, but they said I am wrong.
thats weird, i wouldve assumed the same with leaving it in for less time
ig just try the texturizer like the other person said, ill likely try the same for my death tier curly hair haha

loose curly hair is one of the most appealing hair types if you actually take care of it butttt i do know it's not for some people

i'd say try a curl relaxer too. products that are mid for black people's hair works wonders on other hair types. since you said you were blonde, i'm assuming you have fine/thinner hair, in which case do not leave it on for too long, and don't use anything that's lye based because it can burn your scalp. regular keratin treatments also work but either way you need to keep your hair moisturised.

in the meantime, sleep with a tight braid in, that way you'll wake up with that hair pattern instead of your natural curls

alternatively you can go to an asian hair salon and they'll straighten your hair at 1000f and have the curl pattern permanently removed lol

Do multiple keratin treatments. If you have the money, do it professionally, if not, buy boxed ones, do your research and hope for the best. Curls mog tho tbh.

have you tried relaxers? maybe even a light bleach because it will ruin your hair slightly

Buddy. Curly hair has been a beauty standard for years. Use the proper haircare products and embrace the curls, and you'll look great.

Never understood why people like curly hair even when its natural it gets frizzy and has a weird texture

I naturally have a lot of hair & its 3a I get it looking like 2b-2c by getting it thinned and a layered haircut and also perfected my hair product stack whenever I start getting the full curls back I get it cut & thinned again
lmk if you want the exact haircut or products ^
