Bonesmashing is highly theoretical. Bonesmashing has never been proven to work but it hasnt been proven false either. People bonesmash because "in theory", bones grow and get denser through stress.
1. Hitpoints

You should hit your zygos, chin and gonions. Rest is optional but still good imo.
Red: Use a hammer (preferrably)
Blue: Use your hands/fingers
Purple: Both works, use whatever feels the best
Heres a video of a guy bonesmashing every part of your face that I just mentioned:
2. How to bonesmash correctly
- HIT HARD
It will hurt but if you start hitting yourself lightly, then harder with time it wont hurt as much. However if you bonesmash lightly only and never hard then youre just wasting your time and you will see little to no progress.
- Relax
Try to relax your muscles in the face while hitting yourself, if they arent relaxed it can cause a layer of muscle between the impact and the bone which will cause even more bruising.
3. Risks
- Nerve damage
Numbness or partial paralysis in parts of the face
- Bone fractures
Uneven or improperly healed bones which can cause asymmetry
- Chronic pain
Some people develop long term pain in their mandible, zygos etc
Last piece of info:
- If you use exogenous hormones it would theoretically work way better.
- Nutrients such as K2, D3, Calcium and Magnesium all helps with bones so getting enough of that if you do bonesmash could help.
- Bones dont change instantly, growth happens slowly overtime, so dont bonesmash for 1 week expecting to see results.
