i usually read classic literature which most people might find boring, cant think of any books rn but my fave authors are dostoyevsky, haruki murakami and albert camus, if u didnt read any of them i recommend their more popular/beginner friendly books: white nights, norwegian wood and the stranger. i loved these books even reread them

oo this reminds me i wanted to read The Idiot by Dostoevsky
i started that book and after 100 pages i got bored and it was kinda confusing tbh didnt finish it
only read if u have a lot of time and patience, its a hard read

i don’t think it’s boring! i just hate that some people can be pretentious about it. i’ve been super interested in it, but not really sure where to start so this helps a lot!

Usogui, silence of the lambs, got, reverend insanity, brothers Karamazov
i love silence of the lambs and GOT, haven’t heard of the others tho i will look it up

south wind by norman douglas has some of the best prose i've ever read. the story itself explores themes of hedonism and i found it a very interesting read. i actually took that book from a hotel i was staying at in turkiye cuz it was the only english book there. the hotel lady was so nice and it was an especially good read for the hot summer. too bad the author was a pedophile rapist though.. hes dead so idc
