I bought some cheap retinol gel from a website it was 0.1 (my fault) when I got out the shower my skin was red and dry also very itchy like I was bitten by ants + red bumps

What brand did you use ? Having burns on a 0.1 retinol is wild, the softer dosage is 0.3, are you sure it's not Tretinoin ? Because yes tret at 0.1 literally burns the skin

Buy only Tret at 0.05%

@Clone if it is retinol you have a crazy allergic reaction, try softer version like retinAl or an alternative like bakuchiol

No, steroids users use Tretinoin to get rid of back acne/scars, stop quicker aging on face due to steroids abuse, and fight hair loss (due to steroids abuse as well)

You don't have acne from steroid abuse, you should still use retinol, way less irritating
