my cortisol just rose from this @ey88fibre is a net negative also, it leeches nutrients by binding to the metal ions in nutrients because it has a special polysaccharide, it forces you to excrete the nutrients it binds too, it also leeches water from your body into your gut > stool, which is just dehydration. No one cares that it feeds bacteria that makes it more efficient at handling something that is bad (this is where the term “better gut microbiome > better gut health” comes from, it doesnt mean your gut health gets any better) the benefit of creating a small short chain fatty acids is shit because we get that just by eating saturated fat, alongside this it causes a good amount of bloating and gas for the bacteria to handle the fibre (indigestible matter) in your stomach.
It’s something we instinctively avoid while eating fruits for example, it’s the reason we peel off the skin because we have no cravings for it, it’s the reason we peel the white stuff off of oranges (mainly fibre) because it tastes disgusting and we have no cravings for it, we would have cravings for fibre if we actually needed it like we do for meat.
These is a very short wide spread reasons on why fibre is a net negative on your health, I have eaten less than 2g of fibre everyday unwillingly and have easy poops because all I eat is easily digestible foods![]()
Do you know professor Bart Kay?my cortisol just rose from this @ey88
No never heard of himDo you know professor Bart Kay?
He says carbs are poisonsNo never heard of him
I don’t believe in this imo, sugar is great for you and fuels you, maybe starchy sources, but sugars are great especially for growingHe says carbs are poisons
yeah same but he says that we can get sufficient glucose from gluconeogenesis, exogenous carbs will spike blood sugar levels which is bad he says, also mixing carbs with fats activates the randle cycle and advance glycation end productsI don’t believe in this imo, sugar is great for you and fuels you, maybe starchy sources, but sugars are great especially for growing
So he’s a r****d, lolHe says carbs are poisons
Maybe, maybe not, but he had a long discussion abt carbs causing cancer with various other doctors and professors and they seem to agree with him, idk tbh, but it is evident that carbs feed cancer cellsSo he’s a r****d, lol
Yes, but gluconeogenesis is not necessary, we can skip it by just consuming sugar, blood sugar spikes are fine they are normal reaction your body has it doesn’t mean it’s bad at all, most metabolically healthy humans can handle blood sugar spikes, it’s only diabetics who have impaired insulin signalling that needs to watch out.yeah same but he says that we can get sufficient glucose from gluconeogenesis, exogenous carbs will spike blood sugar levels which is bad he says, also mixing carbs with fats activates the randle cycle and advance glycation end products
Everything that you eat feeds cancerous cells this is the problem, he can tunnel vision and correlate carbs only to feeding cancer cells but in reality it’s everything you consume, you can argue that eating anything calories will feed cancer cells (which is true) but it’s a very dishonest tunnel vision correlation, also only metabolically unhealthy humans have a higher risk of cancer, most carb sources in modern society are trash (biscuits, grain sludge etc) I will mark out candy since that is just processed sugar at that poingMaybe, maybe not, but he had a long discussion abt carbs causing cancer with various other doctors and professors and they seem to agree with him, idk tbh, but it is evident that carbs feed cancer cells
Maybe but carbs are known to be cancer’s favourite foodEverything that you eat feeds cancerous cells this is the problem, he can tunnel vision and correlate carbs only to feeding cancer cells but in reality it’s everything you consume, you can argue that eating anything calories will feed cancer cells (which is true) but it’s a very dishonest tunnel vision correlation, also only metabolically unhealthy humans have a higher risk of cancer, most carb sources in modern society are trash (biscuits, grain sludge etc) I will mark out candy since that is just processed sugar at that poing
As I said, it’s because carbs are extremely good at inducing growth and an anabolic environment, not for only cancer cells but for healthy cells as well, this is why we have to be careful with tunnel visioning things, though with someone with cancer I would also recommend a low carb diet just to slow down there cancer growth.Maybe but carbs are known to be cancer’s favourite food
Dietary Carbohydrate Promotes Cell Survival in Cancer Via the Up-Regulation of Fat Mass and Obesity-Associated Gene Expression Level - PMC
Cancer cells are mainly dependent on glycolysis for their growth and survival. Dietary carbohydrates play a critical role in the growth and proliferation of cancer and a low-carbohydrate diet may help slow down the growth of tumours. However, the ...pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
Ketogenic Diets and Cancer: Emerging Evidence - PMC
Combining a ketogenic diet with standard chemotherapeutic and radiotherapeutic options may help improve tumor response, although more research is needed.pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
Also a study has done in mice where they fed no carbs to the mice and it did reduce the tumour formation, I mean mice studies are not accurate of course but still worth noting
But I agree with you that carbs are essential mainly for growth and in puberty
carbs are not carcinogenic in themselves; the relationship between diet and cancer is multifactorial. genetics, environmental, and lifestyle play much larger rolesMaybe but carbs are known to be cancer’s favourite food
