Announcement [CLOSED] We're looking for new moderators!

It'd be your responsibility to help manage content moderation; That includes reviewing reports, deleting threads/posts, issuing warns/bans, and so on. You will also be expected to answer user's questions or to be able to direct them to someone who can.

We're looking for moderators who are:
  • In any time zone.
  • Willing to learn the moderation tools/etc.
  • Able to accept feedback.
You must:
  • Not have an extensive history of toxic behavior and/or have received minimal warnings. (If you're not sure, feel free to apply anyways.)
  • Have familiarized themselves with the site rules/functions.
  • Be active. (Views the site on a regular basis.)
This is a volunteer, unpaid position, that only offers on-site benefits.

Benefits:
  • Exclusive staff badge underneath your name.
  • Access to exclusive username colors.
  • Ability to perform moderator-only actions (i.e. approve new users, provide warnings/bans, remove posts/threads, etc).
  • Upcoming perks as the website grows.

You can always try. The join date may be a deterrent, but it doesn't hurt to apply anyways.

I will tell users the reason why they were rejected/approved.
 
if i complain enough publicly do u think that i could bully u into giving me staff and then i will flex it n talk ab how im the only one that pulls my weight and i log in once every 3 years

I know this is not something users can poll about but these are my geniune thoughts.

@NewFuckingDay
- Very active.
- Does not seem to have an extensive history of toxicity but I could be wrong.
- Friendly as long as you are friendly back, reciprocative.
- I believe he lives in the U.S.
- Seems to have good morals.

@Pento
- Very active.
- Does not seem to have an extensive history of toxicity besides to Cristian. (Check their .org though)
- Friendly and reciprocative.
- I think Pento lives in europe though, and this forum probably needs more U.S time moderators.
- Cant really confirm or deny good morals since we have not have had much conversations regarding these subjects, but I think they lean towards good morals.

@Nenestar
- Decently active.
- Makes high quality responses and threads
- Lives in Europe though.
- Not toxic, even in debates, and reciprocates their points clearly.
- Although, since Nenestar has the tendency to respond to threads later, less people see them so he may be more unknown to the current userbase.
- You can also play chess with him. (Interactive)
- Has good morals.

@Schizotypalcel (current)
- I know he won't get chosen, but it is worth a try.
- Decently active.
- As I said before, he is a good user, with good morals.
- Great in-depth responses to things pertaining to dating and interpersonal relationships.
- Not sure where he lives, so I don't know what to say here.
- Would have to tone down talking about bashing peoples skulls in though.


As a message to moderators, even though I am a nobody, please be extremely wary of who you end up choosing. There is genuinely creeps on here, and I mean that full heartedly. They are all active in this userbase right now. Getting rid of Tumor, Roosters, whoever, whoever was a great move, but there still lies a bunch of creeps in this userbase.

A lot of users may seem trustworthy at first or on the forums but they can become very nasty on discord / in dms / in private servers.

This includes:
- Doxxers (PII, face, and nudes)
- Pedophiles / Groomers
- Literal CULTISTS with horrible motives.
- And other people with strange motives. Such as a user, who tried to force people to become transgender. I don't care what you are, but forcing people to become something they don't want to be is disgusting.

The reason I don't outright report some of these things, is that I just don't have the hard evidence on me to justify their ban, but trust me, they are out there, and it is more than you would expect. I wish I did have hard evidence so I could see all of them gone.
